Carlton George Douglas (born 10 May 1942) is a Jamaican-British singer best known for his 1974 disco single "Kung Fu Fighting". The song topped charts worldwide, including Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart, selling over 11 million copies. Douglas was the first Jamaican-born artist to score a #1 hit in the United States. He released three studio albums: Kung Fu Fighting and Other Great Love Songs (1974), Love Peace and Happiness (1977), and Keep Pleasing Me (1978). Currently resides in Hamburg, Germany where he owns a production company.
