Karrin Allyson (pronounced KAR-in) is a five-time Grammy nominated American jazz vocalist, pianist, and songwriter born July 27, 1963 in Great Bend, Kansas. Known for her mastery of The Great American Songbook, blues, pop, be-bop, Brazilian music, and French chansons. She sings in English, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Spanish. Her acclaimed albums include "Ballads: Remembering John Coltrane" (2001), "Imagina: Songs of Brasil" (2008), and "A Kiss for Brazil" (2024). She has performed at major venues worldwide including the Newport Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, and Disney Hall.
